Executive king room was fully-equipped and a nice size had hypoallergenic pillows. There were tea and coffee making equipment, and a fridge in the room too. The vibe here was exclusive. Relaxed by the pool, it was nice, especially when the weather was wonderful. It was close to Edinburgh during August 2019, and train station & friendly staff, absolutely perfect and nice location overall.

Also - so close to the castle, restaurants, shops and the Christmas Market, lots other attractions and the royal mile, the Waverley railway station, and a short walk from the shops. Typical english and nice hot breakfast to star a day with the `` fresh '' bread and made to order eggs, for example.
